Austin Griggs

At just 17 years old, Austin is a young and exciting footballer with a bright future ahead of him. His football journey has already seen him gain valuable experience at a number of clubs, helping him develop both as a player and as a person.

Austin began his football journey with Sholing, where he spent a year developing his game and gaining first experience in competitive football. He then moved to Bashley, spending another season continuing his development and building his confidence on the pitch.

His next step came with Eastleigh Academy, where he spent a year developing in an academy environment and further improving his technical ability, understanding of the game and overall approach to football.

Austin then joined Hedge End Town, where he is now in his second season with HET. Since arriving at the club, he has continued to work hard, learn from every experience and show his potential on the pitch.

Along the way, Austin has also had glimpses of interest from professional academies, highlighting the potential he has shown at a young age and the opportunities that could lie ahead if he continues to develop and apply himself.

Everyone at Hedge End Town is hoping to see him continue to grow and achieve his ambitions.
