HET produced a superb performance last night, securing an impressive 5-1 victory after dominating large periods of the match.

HET got off to the perfect start, with Austin finding the back of the net early on with a fantastic goal straight from kick-off. HET continued to apply the pressure, keeping Mob pinned inside their own half. Rob came close to adding a second with a superb strike, only for the Mob goalkeeper to make an excellent save to keep it out.

The pressure eventually paid off when Matty doubled HET’s advantage following some excellent work from the midfield. HET went into half-time with a well deserved 2-0 lead.

The second half saw HET continue where they had left off, with the strength of the first-half performance giving the manager plenty to consider when making his substitutions.

Following a couple of changes, Josh made an immediate impact by getting himself on the score sheet with a cheeky finish to make it 3-0. The goal appeared to lift the pressure even further, with the HET players enjoying their football and continuing to create chances.

There was then a memorable moment for one of HET’s new signings, as Martin opened his account with a great goal to make it 4-0. HET were now firmly in control, with the defence continuing to keep Mob at bay.

The fifth goal was perhaps one of the most anticipated of the evening. After putting in an excellent performance with numerous strong runs and crosses, Lawrence finally got his reward. Showing quick feet before firing home, Lawrence found the net to make it 5-0.

Mob made a number of substitutions in search of fresh legs and managed to pull one back, making the score 5-1.

However, HET remained comfortable for the remainder of the game and saw out the victory to claim an emphatic 5-1 win at the final whistle.
